Paralympic Games With Actual TV Coverage

Remember that smart-ass comment I made in a previous post?

Memo to CTV: The Olympics Are Over!

Please remove the Olympic rings from your on screen bug.

Thank You.

Well it turns out that there’s an actual reason as to why the Olympic rings can still be found on TV, as part of the CTV logo. It was pointed out to me that I may have forgotten about The Paralympic Games. I guess the whole Closing Ceremony hoopla with the planet-sized hovering beavers just made the thing seem over.

Anyway, I looked into it and CTV plans to air 50 hours of coverage, though not all of it will be on the CTV main network. Some of it will be on their various specialty channels. Also if we look at international TV coverage, the games will get a total of 150 hours, which is more than what Beijing got.
