It wasn’t really much of a feud, but on a February 16th episode of CNN’s Larry King Live, Bill Maher did have a bone to pick with Sean Penn. It started out as a simple criticism of the mainstream media, but this is what Maher said in the interview, the full transcript of which is available on CNN’s website.

I’m saying when the nightly news, which is supposed to give you a menu of — or, you know, a variety of subjects that were important that day, covers one story for three or four nights in a row, no, they’re not doing their job. At a certain point, people are not learning about Haiti any more than they can. I mean, you know, at a certain point, you’re just wallowing in it. It’s just disaster porn, honestly.
